I am happy to write this letter on behalf of the Workforce Center and all of the individual programs they have to offer. The workforce staff have been of great help to myself and my children. First off, my children have been on the child care program for four years. My wonderful case worker is Margret, who I absolutely love. Margret has gone above and beyond her job title just to help me. Just recently I've also needed help with finding a better job. At the Workforce Center I met a great lady named Annette. She was very helpful and had such a great personality. She would periodically check on my progress to make sure I was doing alright, she assisted me on writing a good resume, and helped me job search. I then met with Jorge and we went over a few jobs and I picked the best one to fit my interest. Since then, Jorge himself has come to my new job to check to see how I was doing. I am very pleased with the help of the Texas Workforce Center in Abilene, TX. Without all the help from their staff I would still be stuck at a dead end job with little hopes of finding something better so quick. The workforce staff have really made a difference in mine and my children's future.
