Patrol Officer

Job Description:

• The Patrol Officer under the direction of the Police Chief and shall serve the Colorado City Police Department.
• Provide policing services that include protecting life and property.
• Investigate and report criminal offenses. Preserve order and peace.
• Provide traffic enforcement, accident investigation and care of the injured.   Perform duties and services that benefit the general public during emergencies.  
• The City of Colorado City is seeking a highly motivated officer who understands patrol functions and has the ability to enforce laws and ordinances.

Requirements:

• Applicant must pass a background investigation and psychological exam.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Certification by the State of Texas as a Police Officer.
• Maintains TCLEOSE Basic Certification.
• Valid Texas Driver's License with acceptable driving record.

Salary: $27.00 - $33.00 / hour
