Heavy Equipment Operator-PCT.1-Sweetwater
Job Duties:
- Must have or be able to acquire within 3 months, and maintain a valid Texas commercial class A driver’s license.
- Regular attendance and timeliness in proper physical and mental work condition is required with the understanding that this job will be primary to any other jobs or duties.
- Must be available for call outs and able to work late when necessary
- Physically capable to safely climb in and on and off equipment, physically lift and maneuver 75 pounds, and operate manual hand tools such as picks and shovels.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Must be able to operate track-front end loader; operate motor grader; operate all pieces of county equipment; operate dump trucks up to 12 yard capacity; change fan belt on vehicles; change tire on vehicles; change oil and filters on vehicles; perform minor maintenance on all county vehicles; basic welding skills; be able to work on asphalt truck
