Job Description:Performs advanced (senior-level) managerial work providing administrative and clinical supervision of the clinical services and treatment programs and staff of an institution. Directs professional services including trauma informed group, individual, and family counseling; administration and interpretation of psychological evaluations of youth; and the monitoring and evaluation of youth at risk of suicide or in need of specialized treatment services. Coordinates and conducts the agency's approved Texas Model of Trauma Informed Corrections' treatment program, specialized treatment programs, and other in-service training; serves as the chairperson on the clinical team meeting, and participates in other multidisciplinary committees.Provides clinical oversight of the facility and assists the Superintendent in managing the overall Texas Model of Trauma Informed Corrections' treatment program of the facility. Supervises, monitors, evaluates, assists in the design, and provides training for the agencies Texas Model of Trauma Informed Corrections' treatment program as well as special individual and group treatment programs. Monitors youths progress through specialized treatment programs, managing wait lists of youth in need of services, and for managing movement into and out of specialized programs. Works collaboratively with the treatment team to ensure that adaptations and alternative interventions occur as needed with youth in need. Consults regularly with the Central Office Director of Treatment Programs about youth in these programs and communicates issues that arise which impact the delivery of those services. Ensures supplemental group sessions are scheduled and occur regularly. Supervises other psychologists, clinical staff, interns, practicum students, and program specialists for specialized treatment programs assigned to the facility. Provides clinical supervision and consultation to the specialized treatment programs. Assists in referrals and monitoring of youth on psychotropic medication.Works under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. May be required to work in excess of 40 hours per workweek, be on-call, and travel occasionally.


Minimum Salary: $6,073.83/Month (Depending on Experience)

Maximum Salary: $10,204.25/Month (Depending on Experience)
