Job Description:
As the Tent Division Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operations and growth of our tent rental division. Your responsibilities will include route planning, inventory management, personnel management, and ensuring the successful setup of tent installations. This is a leadership position that offers room for quick promotion within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Route Planning: Create efficient delivery routes for our tent rentals to maximize time and resources.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that adequate stock is available for customer orders.
- Personnel Management: Hire, train, and manage team members. Handle staffing needs, including hiring and termination.
- Tent Installations: Oversee and setup installation of tents at event locations, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers, provide information, and address inquiries and concerns.
- Driving and Lifting: Operate trailers for deliveries and assist with heavy lifting when needed.
- Provide maintenance to trucks and trailers with maintenance logs.
- Organization Skills: Maintain a well-organized and efficient tent rental operation.
- Leadership: Lead by example, motivate the team, and promote a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate trailers and perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Prior experience in event equipment rental or related field is a plus.
