Maverick Logistics LLC of Eastland, TX is looking to hire a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Dispatcher.
Bilingual Dispatcher reports to Director of Logistics and assists with the effective management and coordination of drivers and vehicles. This includes developing delivery routes and establishing contact with drivers throughout the day. The Dispatcher will be responsible for using the latest in routing software to establish daily trucking routes that make required stops outlined in the customer contracts. Dispatcher will need to be able to adjust to last minute changes and work with drivers to schedule pick-up or delivery, when necessary, while monitoring any sudden route changes or road construction issues and work with drivers to establish new routes for timely deliveries. Dispatchers are the point of contact that a driver can rely on.
Qualifications, Education, and Experience:
- Experience in customer support
- Understanding of process flow and ability to recommend improvements.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Moderate computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with creative problem-solving skills and excellent follow through.
- Ability to adapt to change quickly and to multitask.
- Must be able to travel regionally as required.
