The City of Tye is currently seeking their next Chief of Police.
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
Plant, directs, manages, and oversees the activities and operation of the Police Department including law enforcement, crime prevention and crime suppression programs; coordinates assigned activities with departments and outside agencies.
The desired qualities are experience in community-oriented policing and a positive leadership approach. The Chief will be expected to use innovative law enforcement practices, develop plans and sets goals and objectives to strive for efficiency in the performance of departmental activities.
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree
Pay: $45,000-60,000 Annually
