| | Are you ready for a challenge? Are you looking for your next step in your career? We are currently looking for CAD Technicians and Designers with backgrounds in design and preparation of construction drawings using Auto CAD (Computer Aided Design) that aid in the manufacturing of fire trucks. They will also translate technical notes, sketches, electronic data, and/or other drawings into neat and organized drawings and packages that clearly communicate the technical solutions designed to the project team and client. Duties and Responsibilities- Design preliminary layouts from engineering notes, sketches, and/or other drawings, ensuring they meet our company and industry standards and codes
- Prepare engineering drawings for review and submittal.
- Complete drawing/project responsibilities within scope, budget, and schedule; reviewing own work for completeness and accuracy
- Organize and maintain all revisions of project drawings and project-related information per our company policies and procedures
- Analyze technical problems; devise new or improved techniques, approaches, and alternative solutions; and communicate those to supervisor for approval and implementation
Qualifications- Associate degree or related technical certificate or equivalent experience in AutoCAD
- 1 to 10+ Years of Applicable AutoCAD Design Experience
- Self-motivated, engaged, team-oriented, energetic, flexible, confident, and forward thinking
- Applicants must be proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Acrobat Standard, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. The applicant must be able to communicate and coordinate with the office team in areas of planning, project coordination, and cost management. Competitive compensation based on skill and experience.
