[ARCHIVED] 2021-2024 Board Plan Available for Public Comment

Public Notice

The Workforce Solutions of West Central Texas Board (Board) hereby provides notice of the availability of the draft strategic and operational plan for the period of July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2025.  The Board is responsible for the planning, oversight and implementation of workforce development programs throughout the area, which includes the following 19 counties:  Brown, Callahan, Coleman, Comanche, Eastland, Fisher, Haskell, Jones, Kent, Knox, Mitchell, Nolan, Runnels, Scurry, Shackelford, Stephens, Stonewall, Taylor and Throckmorton.  The final plan will be submitted to the Texas Workforce Commission no later than March 1, 2021.  A copy of the current plan is available on the Public Information page.  Interested parties may obtain a copy of the draft plan by contacting Melissa Mauricio at 325-795-4200 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday or by e-mail

Comments regarding the plan may be submitted in writing to the address below, faxed to 325-795-4300 or sent via e-mail no later than 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2021.  Individuals interested in providing input for the plan may make public comments at the Board’s regular meeting scheduled for Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at noon via Zoom Meeting (Meeting ID: 860 4703 8182 and Passcode: 919403) or in person in the Lone Star Room on the 12th Floor of the Board offices, which are located at the address below.
