The City of Brownwood is currently accepting applications for a Engineering Technician II.
This is a full-time position requiring a self-motivated individual desiring work performing varied tasks in multiple disciplines without close supervision. This person will perform design and keep records of plans and specifications of related projects. This person must also be able to read and evaluate engineering plans, make sound recommendations for changes to proposed plans by developers, engineers, and planners, etc. This person must be able to perform project quality control & inspections, and update pavement management program and infrastructure data into GIS program. An important emphasis is on using computer aided drafting and database tools to create and maintain infrastructure data in a manner permitting retrieval and analysis.
