Activity Center Instructor

Job Description:

• The Activity Center Instructor is responsible for implementing the training, instruction and daily activities within the day program according to guidelines laid out by the Director.  
• The Activity Center Supervisor also assists the folks with retaining, improving, or acquiring the self-help, socialization and adaptive skills necessary to live and participate successfully in home and community life.
• Overseeing the incorporation of DRI’s mission statement in the folks’ daily lives 
• Being knowledgeable of and understanding of each folk’s abilities, disabilities and interests in order to supervise and care for them effectively
• Being knowledgeable of and maintaining strict adherence to all DRI policies and procedures
• Ensuring compliance with all appropriate State and Federal standards

Pay:

• $13.00 / hour
