Firefighter EMT – Basic

Examples of Duties:
- Responds to alarms as a member of a firefighting company; performs variety of firefighting functions involving technical skills
- Responds as a member of a medical team to bring quality medical care to citizens of the community and surrounding area
- Cooperates with surrounding communities in firefighting and rescue efforts
Qualifications:
- Shall hold at least TCFP Basic Firefighter Certification or be able to obtain within one (1) year of employment and maintain such certification
- Shall maintain a Texas DSHS Emergency Medical Technician/Basic (EMT-B) certification or be able to obtain within one (1) year of employment
- Shall hold a valid Texas Class B Driver's License or higher or be able to obtain such a license
Salary:
- $60,815.98 - $62,822.91/yr
