The Center for Contemporary Arts in Abilene, Texas is looking to fill an Assistant Director position.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills Strong understanding of and experience with financial best practices and controls for nonprofits Graphic design proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or other design software a plus.
- Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
- Experience with donor management and CRM tools social media: Strategy development, story concepts, writing, design, insertion and analytics.
- Proficiency with Facebook and Instagram (including reels), Linked-In (for B-to-B), TikTok
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in marketing, business, finance, management, or related field
- Experience managing a team and setting/achieving shared goals
- Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy a plus
- Proven success in designing creative content
- Strong community advocate with ability to attract and engage community partners, established contacts in the community, media, donors etc.
- Ability to lift and carry for event setups and logistics
- 3+ years of experience in nonprofit development or sales experience, preferably with grant writing and corporate and individual donor fundraising
- Outstanding leader, with exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong understanding of non-profit financial processes and regulations
- Computer literacy in basic office applications and Google Office
