Community Resource Specialist
The Community Resource Specialist will assist with disaster relief and general community resources. The candidate will respond to calls from citizens across Texas, providing them with local resources to meet their needs.
Key Duties:
- Ensure respectful treatment of all clients.
- Provide information and referrals for callers and walk-in clients
- Engage in active listening, assess caller/client needs, and offer appropriate referrals and information based on their needs.
- Demonstrate empathy to callers/clients and problem-solve with callers/clients.
- Maintain high standards of call management and data entry.
- Effectively manage time with callers, walk-ins, data entry, training/continuing education, and website/resource exploration
Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
- Strong multitasking and people skills
- Knowledge and experience with heavy telephone traffic and computers
- Flexibility with schedule
- Ability to perform high-volume, real-time data entry.
Salary: $17.00 per hour
