Betty Hardwick Center is currently seeking a Rural Crisis Specialist for the Jones County area.
Job Duties:
- Responds to Crisis Hot/Avail Line, law enforcement, hospitals, and community calls from Jones and when needed Taylor County communities (excludes city of Abilene).
- Will perform crisis assessments on both adults and children.
- Will provide crisis follow up and relapse prevention services to the crisis customers in the rural areas to help them avoid re-occurrence of crisis.
Job Requirements:
- Requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in a field relevant to job duties.
- Must be eligible to be certified as a Qualified Mental Health Professional.
- Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License and be an insurable driver.
This is a full-time position primarily 8am-5pm with a starting salary of $19.13- $20.35 (DOE), with benefits available.
