Overview
Works with a wide range of media and use graphic design software to create new design concepts, graphics, and layouts. Additional responsibilities include media writing, media buys, promotional items, website edits, trade shows, and limited travel.
Responsibilities
- Create visually compelling graphics through Adobe Creative Suite apps such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign for print and digital advertising.
- Collaborate and conceptualize ideas with writers, other designers, and staff across multiple departments and functions.
- Demonstrate strong typography and color usage, carrying out brand standards across all media.
- Stay current with design industry trends and be knowledgeable with basic design principles.
- Assist vendors, development teams or the business when appropriate.
- Timely and accurate process completion. Monitor and verify processes for errors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Art or a related field is preferred.
- Must be proficient in Adobe Suite (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Two (2) years of experience in the field of advertising, marketing, customer information and / or sales is preferred. Experience using software programs such as Adobe photoshop and Illustrator is a plus but not required.
- Experience in the metal building industry is a plus.
- Must be PC proficient and have a good understanding of Microsoft Office products, e-mail and Internet use.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to resolve problems both internally and with customers.
- Ability to think conceptually and produce desired results.
- A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
- Hire-in salary of $41,200.
