The Fisher, Mitchell and Nolan Counties Juvenile Probation Department is hiring for the position of Juvenile Probation Officer.
Job Summary:
Provide supervision and counseling to juveniles within the Juvenile Justice System. Supervise and monitor probationer’s case related to conditions of probation including: visits with client’s family, school, and job; conducts initial and subsequent interviews with clients to assist in recommendations, ensures probationer understands conditions of probation and assist probationer in meeting terms of probation.
Education and Experience:
- Required Bachelor’s degree
Essential Physical Demands:
- Ability to pass pre-employment random drug screenings and criminal background check.
- Must reside in either Fisher, Mitchell or Nolan County once hired.
